Brittany Kerr actually used to be a cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats! The Bobcats are a team in the NBA, and from the years 2011-2012 Kerr was a part of the team’s cheer squads. Kerr Loves and Respects Her Mom

When she was asked about her role models and who she respects, Kerr said that one of her absolute favorite people was her own mom. Kerr explained why she respects her mother so much, saying that she is an amazing and inspiring person. Her mom ran the household when she was a child, as well as working, cooking, and cleaning for her family. It really is admirable when one person can run a whole household like that, especially when they have to work themselves.

She Was Almost Rejected From American Idol

When she auditioned for American Idol, Jennifer Lopez thought that she actually wasn’t good enough for the show, and that she should be sent home. Lopez said no to Kerr after she performed a rendition of the Joss Stone song ‘Spoiled.’ Luckily for Kerr, the other two judges liked her performance and thought she was good enough to land a spot on the show. Kerr did go on to appear on American Idol, which is where she met her future husband, Jason Aldean.

He is one of the most famous country stars ever, and he has been married to five different women! However, this time it seems like Kenny Rogers has found the right lady for him. He married Wanda Miller in 1997, and the couple are still together today. Rogers and Miller have two children together, and Rogers is still actively touring and performing his music. While he has never been to the town of Montevallo, Sam Hunt’s love for a girl from there was so strong that it inspired him to name his album after the place. Kelsea Ballerini is a well-liked country-pop singer, and her spouse is the Australian musician Morgan Evans. The fairly young Ballerini was also recently nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist. She met Evans while she hosted a show together with him in Australia, and the pair fell in love. Ballerini said that Evans proposed to her while she was cooking pancakes in the kitchen, and that he has been one of the greatest things to happen to her.

Martina and John McBride have been married ever since 1988. John is a sound engineer, and a few years after they got married Martina began recording professionally as a country musician. Dean Berner and Rachel Beauregard are both very popular country musicians in their own right. They play in different bands, but the couple have been able to have a strong relationship together as well. They shared the news of their engagement on Facebook, and Berner and Beauregard have since gotten married.

He rose to prominence thanks to his appearance on The Voice on its seventh season. Craig Wayne Boynd is a country singer, and his wife Taylor is a model. Their daughter was actually born on New Year’s Eve! Boyd and Borland met after Boyd’s time on The Voice, and the couple dated for some time before they became engaged in June 2015. Nick Hoffman and Natalie Murphy

Nick Hoffman sings and plays the fiddle in the country band The Farm. Two of their singles from their debut album reached the top 40 of the country charts, and Hoffman has also played the fiddle in Kenny Chesney´s band. His wife, Natalie Murphy, is also a musician who makes singer-songwriter music. The couple married in 2016, and Hoffman said he felt incredibly blessed to be married to Murphy. Gary LeVox’s band Rascal Flatts had a substantial crossover hit with their song ‘Life is a Highway.’ He and his wife Tara married in 1999, and Gary has said that he knew from the moment he met her that he was destined to be with Tara. Randy Houser is a pretty big name in country music. Several of his songs have made it onto the charts, and he has been nominated for the Country Music Association’s award for Song of the Year. In 2011, he and his first wife Jessica Yantz married, and the couple had a child in 2012. However, the relationship did not last, and they ended up divorcing a couple of years later. He later married again to his current wife, Tatiana Starzynski.

Hillary Scott is a part of the massive country band Lady Antebellum. She is one of the band’s lead vocalists, and she met her husband Chris Tyrrell while they were both in college. However, they did not star dating until after the pair had played some concerts together much later on. They began dating in 2010, and subsequently got engaged a year later. Tyrrell proposed to Scott in Tennessee, and they are now married and have a child together.

What a tangled web we weave! Shania Twain is one of the biggest stars in country music today, and her first marriage was to a music producer named Robert John Lange. Lange and Twain later divorced after he allegedly had an affair with one of Twain’s closest friends, Marie-Anne Thiebaud. After this, Twain and Thiebaud’s ex-husband Frederic began dating, and they later got married. They are still together today, and clearly have come out of that messy situation happier and stronger together.

Joe Don Rooney and Tiffany Fallon

Another member of Rascal Flatts is on this list. Joe Don Rooney is the guitarist of the band, and he has been playing with the group since 1992. He is a talented multi-instrumentalist, and can also play the mandolin, banjo, and the bass guitar. Tiffany Fallon is a model, who was the runner-up in the Miss USA Competition in 2001. They have three children together, and seem to share a really incredible and happy life as a couple.

Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock

Reba McEntire is basically a household name in many parts of America. She has not only been a huge country star, but she also has a TV series named after her. In 1989, she married her manager at the time, Narvel Blackstock. Their ceremony was a small and intimate event at Lake Tahoe, and the couple have one child together. Blackstock also has three children together with his ex-wife. Funnily enough, Blackstock’s son is actually married to Kelly Clarkson.

Natalie Maines and Adrian Pasdar

The Dixie Chicks are one of the most popular country groups ever, and Natalie Maines is their lead singer. She married her college sweetheart in 1997, but after only two years together the couple filed for divorce. She met Adrian Pasdar that same year at a friend’s wedding, and they married in 2000 at a chapel in Las Vegas. They have since had two sons together, who are named Beckett Finn and Jason Slade.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert

Both of these singers are very successful and popular country singer-songwriters in their own right. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert make something of a country power-couple together! They were married between the years 2011-2015, but a scandal erupted when it was revealed that Shelton was likely having an affair with Gwen Stefani, who he was hosting The Voice with at the time. Shelton and Lambert separated, and Shelton and Stefani are now in a relationship.

George and Norma Strait  

George Strait is one of the biggest ever stars to make country music. He has been a huge influence on many past and present country musicians. George married his wife Norma in 1971, and they have now been together for over 40 years! George Strait still performs regularly, and he has also been in some movies based around country music. He also continues to write and record music to this day.

Toby Keith and Trisha Covel

This couple have been together since the 1980s. Toby Keith Covel and Trisha Covel wed in 1984, and they are still married today. They met in Oklahoma in a nightclub when they were both only 20, and they quickly began dating. The couple have a few children together, one of whom they adopted the same year that they married. They are now also grandparents to two children. Their bond is a really great example of what is possible when two people commit to one another for life.

Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook 

Both of these great country musicians are actually members of the same band. The group Little Big Town formed in 1998, and the band is still made up of all the original members. The four of them take turns singing lead vocals in the band, so their sound is constantly changing and evolving. Fairchild and Westbrook are both private people, and they did not publicize their relationship, only announcing that they were together after they wed.

Jake Owen has been a pretty big name in country music for a while now, and his great work ethic has characterized his career. Justin Miller and Jennifer Nettles make a great couple. Nettles is part of the duo Sugarland, where she primarily sings lead vocals. She and Miller dated for a few years before they eventually got engaged. Nettles was married once before in 1998, but she and her first husband later divorced in 2007. Nettles and Miller married at sunset in Tennessee in 2011, and at the end of 2012 they welcomed their son Magnus into the world.

Loreta and Oliver Lynn

These two really stuck together through thick and thin and for better or worse. Oliver and Loreta Lynn met each other when they were just 15, and the couple married soon after. They stayed together for nearly 50 years, but reportedly their relationship had many ups and downs. Winning just one Grammy Award would be a career-defining moment for many musicians, but Alison Krauss has won a cool 27! She is a great singer and songwriter, and she also plays the fiddle. She and her husband Pat Bergeson married in 1997. Bergeson is also a musician, and he plays the guitar. While their marriage seemed to be successful, Bergeson and Krauss later divorced. Kris’ adult life actually began in the military, and he later went on to be a successful and popular country star.  Kris is also a great actor, and he starred in a number of successful films like A Star is Born. He collaborated with many other musicians like Johnny Cash before he eventually met his wife Rita Coolidge. Coolidge was also a popular singer, and the pair got married in the early 1970s. Travis Tritt has had a stellar career in country music. He has won two Grammy Awards so far, and a whopping seven of his albums have sold enough copies to be certified Platinum. The Country Hall-of-famer Charlie Daniels is 80 years old and still going strong with his music and performing. He is an absolute mainstay of the genre, and he has done incredible things with his career like winning a Grammy Award and working with Bob Dylan. His wife Hazel has been a massive support to him. The couple married in 1963 and are still together, and she has helped him through health issues like suffering a stroke.

Tanya Tucker and Ben Reed

 Tanya Tucker became a country sensation overnight when she had her first hit song at just 13 years old. Her life has been somewhat tumultuous though, and this is due in large part to her relationships causing her some strife. She was together with her husband Ben Reed throughout the late 80s and some of the 90s and the couple had a daughter together. However, they eventually split, and this was reportedly a very tough period for Tanya Tucker.

It’s hard to think of a name in country music more beloved than Glen Campbell! He has really done it all. He has hosted tv shows, acted in movies, and sold millions upon millions of albums. Campbell has eight children (!) and was married a few different times before he met his current wife Kimberly Woollen. They married in 1982, and they are still going strong to this day. Campbell must be one seriously busy man.

Here is another country music power-couple. Wynonna Judd is best-known simply as Wynonna, and she has had a long-lasting career in country music. It actually began with a band she started with her mom, and she later went on to have a really successful career as a solo artist. Her husband Cactus plays in the band Highway 101, and the couple got married in June 2012. Maybe they can work together on an album one day.

Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly

Kacey Musgraves got her big break on the music competition show, Nashville Star. She may not have come close to winning the competition, but it catapulted her to considerable success nonetheless. She has now been nominated for both Grammy and CMA Awards, and she has also worked with the great country musician Dierks Bentley. She is engaged to her partner Ruston, and the couple reportedly intend to get married pretty soon.

Randy Travis and Mary Davis

Their relationship began in a pretty unconventional way. Randy Travis is a country star who is well-known for his singing voice in particular. His first marriage lasted a long time; he was with his ex-wife Elizabeth from 1991 to 2010. Rumor has it, that Randy was caught by his wife having an affair with his dentist, Mary Davis! He and Elizabeth divorced, and Davis and Travis spent some time dating before they later got married. They are still together now.

Alan Jackson is a well-known country star, who got married to his childhood sweetheart, Denise, all the way back in 1979.
