This apocalyptic film shows New York City before and after a monster takes over the place. When the main character, Rob, is on a date in Coney Island, suddenly we see a strange black dot zooming into the water at the same time as a digital beeping sound. Many viewers have theorized that it was a satellite. While J.J. Abrams hasn’t fully confirmed this, many have paused the scene and rewatched to try to figure it out.
